Welcome to North Yorkshire Wine Society

The North Yorkshire Wine Society (NYWS) has been in existence since 1972, its purpose and emphasis being on the exploration and enjoyment of a wide variety of wines. We are a wine appreciation group so if you enjoy wine, good company and want to discover more about what is in your glass, come along to one of our tasting meetings. There are different speakers and topics each month with a range of interesting wines to taste with most of the major wine areas of the world covered in a relaxed atmosphere. 

Guest presenters include wine educators, suppliers and many other interesting and informative speakers from the world of wine.

We aim to have 10 “tasting meetings” per year, plus a Summer party and a Christmas dinner. 

NYWS tasting meetings are held Monthly on Tuesday nights, starting at 19:30, at The Town Hall, Market Place, Richmond DL10 4QL

The annual subscription is £25 per person, and the charge for tasting meetings is £18 for members and £20 for guests.
